This is a common aspect ratio of digital point-and-shoot cameras.

Aspect Ratio 2:3 (4x6,12x18,16x24 & 20x30 prints)

In the photo of the bricks, no change in size is necessary.  In the photo of the plant, the white boarder areas would need to be added to the original in order to make the print.

Aspect Ratio 5:7 (5x7 print)

White areas would need to be added to the original photograph in order to make the print.

Aspect Ratio 4:5 (8x10 & 16x20 prints)

White areas would need to be added to the original photograph in order to make the print.

Aspect Ratio 11:14 (11x14 print)

White areas would need to be added to the original photograph in order to make the print.

Aspect Ratio 3:4 (18x24 print)

White areas would need to be added to the original photograph in order to make the print.  No boarders are necessary in the photo of the plant.

White areas would need to be added to the original photograph in order to make the print.
